Job Description # The Marketing Communications Manager is a multi
faceted role with high visibility and growth potential. The ideal candidate will
have the ability to manage, develop and execute Communication vehicles for
our internal and external sellers. This will be executed in conjunction with
their teammates to support our NA Business Partners and our NA BP IBM
sales teams to generate opportunity identification (OI) and pipeline.
# List of Primary & Secondary Activities and Functions Performed:
a. Sales Play & Speed Sheet Enablement:
# Assist in NA BP & MM sales play process, selection,
creation/customization, feedback and delivery
# Educate NA channel sellers & Business Partners on sales plays
# Own bi-weekly speed sheet process including running the call, developing
headlights, coordination of email distribution to internal sellers and posting
to PartnerWorld for BPs.
b. Develop & deploy key internal & external communication deliverables for
specific brands, Smarter Planet, Cloud, MM as needed
c. NA Promotion Tracking – Monitoring promotions, ensure brands are
within guidelines and maintain promotion list within ERM rules
# participate on ERM promotion calls as needed
d. Participate as a Board Member on the Virtual Hub representing channel
readiness processes
# The Marketing Communications Manager is expected to gain
understanding of the Business Partner market over time, ensure
enablement of the Business Partner seller and IBM seller to successfully
drive OI/pipeline
